CITY COUNCIL “PRE-MEETING” WORK SESSION, JANUARY 21, 2020
CALL TO ORDER
Mayor Carrie Tergin called the January 21, 2020 City Council “Pre-Meeting” to order at
5:46 P.M. to review the agenda.
ATTENDANCE
The following Council Members were present when the meeting convened:
Present: Fitzwater, Hensley, Hussey, Kemna, Mihalevich, Prather,
Schreiber, and Ward
Absent: Graham and Wiseman
A quorum was present.
DISCUSSION OF AGENDA ITEMS
Councilman Prather will lead the prayer.
Appointments by the Mayor
- Gail Strope, Human Resources Director, will present the recommended
appointments.
Bills Introduced
- City Staff provided a summary of their respective bills introduced.
- Parks Staff has requested a suspension of the rules on bill 2019-098
pertaining to a supplemental appropriation for the purchase of the 63
Diamonds baseball/softball fields.
Bills Pending
- City Staff provided a summary on their respective pending bills.
Scheduled Closed Session
- Mayor Tergin will request a motion to amend the agenda, splitting the closed
session into two separate closed sessions to accommodate guests attending
the City Council meeting. The first closed session will remain as item 18
(a.)(i.). The second closed session would be moved to item 20.
ADJOURNMENT
The meeting adjourned at 5:55 P.M.
