A RESOLUTION TO FORM AND SUPPORT AN ECONOMIC DEVELOPMENT COALITION
COMPOSED OF GRAND COUNTY, THE CITY OF MOAB AND THE MOAB CHAMBER OF
COMMERCE.
WHEREAS, Grand County, the City of Moab and the Moab Chamber
of Commerce each recognize the need for a unified economic
development action plan; and
WHEREAS, each of these organizations supports the mission to
bring together various public and private interests in Grand County
in order to build a strong community through a broad -based,
environmentally -sensitive economy; and
WHEREAS, the formal support of Grand County, the City of Moab,
and the Moab Chamber of Commerce are essential to the success of
any unified economic development action plan;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED BY THE MOAB CITY COUNCIL
to form and support the Economic Development Coalition by
appointing three members to the Coalition who will carry out the
community's economic development mission.
