A RESOLUTIONOF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
LYNWOOD APPkOVING THE PLANNING DIVISION AS TO
COORDINATE THE REVIEW OF AND PROVIDE INFORMATION
ON THE STATUS OF ALL PERMITS FOR COMMERCIAL AND
INDUSTRIAL DEVELOPMENTS IN THE CITY PURSUANT
TO SENATE BILL 992

WHEREAS, SB 992 requires that each city or county coordinate and
provide information on the status of all commercial and industrial develop-
ment permits by January 1, 1984; and
WHEREAS, such coordination will provide the city with a streamlined,
efficient permit process; and
WHEREAS, the Planning Commission has unanimously agreed to the
~ implementation of Senate Bill 992;
NOW, THEREFORE, the City Council of the City of Lynwood DOES HEREBY
RESOLVE as follows:
Section 1. Establishment of a coordination process with respect
to commercial and industrial development permits is in keeping with effective
planning procedures.
Section 2. The Planning Division has been designated as the admin-
istrative entity to coordinate the permit process.
Section 3. The City Clerk is directed to forward a certified copy
of the Resolution to the Office of Planning and Research, Sacramento, Calif-
ornia.
PASSED, APPROVED and ADOPTED this 7th day of February 1984.
