A RESOLUTION SETTING THE DATE FOR A PUBLIC HEARING FOR THE 1sT
READING OF AN ORDINANCE ESTABLISHING NEW SEWER AND WATER
CONNECTION FEES.
Whereas, The City of Tiffin, ,Iowa recognizes that it needs to hold a public hearing prior
to changing an Ordinance and;
Whereas the City Council of the Citjof Tiffin recognizes that the current Ordinance
2006-279 regulating Sewer and Water connection fees, and the City and Tiffin City
Council requested to amend and reestablish the sewer and water connection fees to
coincide with the Cities' future development;
Now, therefore be it resolved by the City Council of the City of Tiffin, Iowa to set a
public hearing for Wednesday, March 25th, 2015 at 7:00 p.m. at City Hall.
On the 11th day of March, 2015, at a regular meeting of the Tiffin City Council; Tiffin,
Iowa, Councilperson'Havens introduced Resolution No. 2015-034, A RESOLUTION
SETTING THE DATE FOR A PUBLIC HEARING FOR THE 1ST READING OF AN
ORDINANCE ESTABLISHING NEW SEWER AND WATER CONNECTION FEES and
made a motion for approval. Motion seconded by Councilperson Ryan.
Ayes: Upton, Bartels, Havens, Kahler, Ryan
Nays: none.
Absent: none.
Whereupon five Council members were present and voted approval and Mayor Berner
declared that the Resolution No. 2015-034; A RESOLUTION SETTING THE DATE
FOR A PUBLIC HEARING FOR THE 1ST READING -OF AN ORDINANCE
ESTABLISHING NEW SEWER AND WATER CONNECTION FEES to be adopted and
signified his approval of the same by affixing his signature thereto.
Passed by the City Council on the 11th day of March, 2015.
