RESOLUTION NO. 2015-037
A RESOLUTION APPROVING CHANGE ORDER #1 FROM RATHJE
CONSTRUCTION FOR THE IRELAND AVENUE PROJECT IN THE AMOUNT OF
$23,370.93
Whereas, The City received a change order #1 for the Ireland Avenue Project
Whereas the City Council of the City of Tiffin recognizes for this project the Iowa
Interstate Railroad has new safety training requirements for each individual working
within IAIS Railroad Right of Way, and.was not part of the original project bid.
Now, therefore be it resolved by the City Council of the City of Tiffin, Iowa to approve,
the pay estimate to Rathje Construction for the required training from the IAIS Railroad
in the amount of $23,370.93.
On the 8th day of April, 2015, at a regular meeting of the Tiffin City Council, Tiffin, Iowa,
Councilperson Ryan introduced Resolution No. 2015-037, A RESOLUTION
APPkOVING'CHANGE ORDER #1 FROM RATHJE CONSTRUCTION FOR THE
IRELAND AVENUE PROJECT IN THE AMOUNT OF $23,370.93and made a motion
for approval. Motion seconded by Councilperson Upton.
Ayes: Joann Kahler, Mike Ryan, Peggy Upton, Jim Bartels, Al Havens
Nays: none.
Absent: none.
Whereupon five Council members were present and voted approval and Mayor Berner
declared that the Resolution No. 2015-037, A RESOLUTION APPROVING CHANGE
ORDER #1 FROM RATHJE CONSTRUCTION FOR THE IRELAND AVENUE
PROJECT IN THE AMOUNT, OF $23,370.93to be adopted and signified his approval of
the same by affixing his signature thereto.
