i A RESOLUTION APPROVING CHANGE ORDER #1 FOR THE 2014
WATER & SEWER EXTENSION PROJECT DIV II FOR (CCA SCHOOL) IN' THE
AMOUNT OF $65,996.10. '
Whereas, -The City received a change,order #1 for the 2014 Water & Sewer Extension
Project (CCA Schools) DIV II.
Whereas the City Council of the City of Tiffin recognizes for this project to convert the
12" gravity sewer on the north side of Hwy 6 to, directionally drill vs. open 'cutting as
originally bid. Cornerstone, Excavating was instructed to provide pricing for the -addition
of'another manhole at the north end, extending the length to accommodate the school's
entrance and to convert the open cut installation method to directional drilled
installation.'
Now, therefore be it resolved by the City Council of the City of Tiffin, Iowa to approve
the pay estimate to Maxwell Construction for the 2014 Water & Sewer Extension Project
` (CCA School) in the amount of $65,996.10.
On the 11 th day of March, 2015, at a regular meeting of the -Tiffin City Council, Tiffin,
Iowa,- Councilperson Ryan introduced Resolution No. 2015-030, A,RESOLUTION
APPROVING CHANGE`ORDER #1 FOR THE 2014 WATER & SEWER EXTENSION
PROJECT DIV II FOR (CCA SCHOOL) IN THE AMOUNT OF $65,996.1b and made a
motion for approval. Motion seconded by Councilperson Havens.
Ayes-' Upton, Bartels, Havens, Kahler, Ryan ,
Nays: none.
Absent: none.
Whereupon Five Council members were present and voted approval and Mayor Berner A
declared that the Resolution No. 2015-030, A RESOLUTION approving change
order #1 for the Water,& Sewer Extension Project (DIV II) for CCA School in the s
amount of $65,996.10 to be adopted and signified his approval.of the same, by affixing
his signature thereto.
Passed by the City Council on the 11t"`day of March, 2015.
