A RESOLUTION SETTING THE DATE FOR A PUBLIC HEARING'FOR THE 1sT
READING OF AN ORDINANCE CHANGING THE UTILITY DEPOSIT FROM $150 TO -
$75 ,
Whereas, The City of Tiffin, Iowa recognizes that,it needs to hold a public hearing prior
to creating an ordinance changing the utility deposit and;
Whereas the City Council of the City of Tiffin recognizes that the current Utility Deposit
is currently set at $150 and agrees that the deposit of $75 is more acceptable;
Now, therefore be it resolved by the City Council of the City of7iffin, low&to set a
` public hearing on Wednesday, March 25th, 2015 at 7:00' p.m. at Tiffin City Hall .
' On the 11th day of March, 2015, at a regular meeting of the Tiffin City Council, Tiffin,
Iowa, Councilperson Upton introduced Resolution No. 2015-035, A h
RESOLUTIONS ETTING THE DATE FOR A PUBLIC HEARING FOR THE 1sT v
READING OF AN ORDINANCE CHANGING' THE UTILITY DEPOSIT TO $150 TO $75
and made a motion for approval. Motion seconded by Councilperson Ryan.
Ayes: Upton, Bartels, Havens, Kahler, Ryan
Nays: none. t
Absent: none. '
Whereupon five Council members were,present and voted approval and Mayor Berner
declared that the Resolution No. 2015-035, A RESOLUTION SETTING THE DATE
s FOR PUBLIC HEARING FOR THE 1ST READING OF AN ORDINANCE CHANGING
THE UTILITY DEPOSIT TO $150 TO $75 be,adopted and signified his approval of the
same -by affixing his signature thereto. ,
Passed.by the City Council on the 11th day of March, 2015.
