RESOLUTION NO. 84 -2316
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
TEMPLE CITY BESTOWING HONORARY MEMBERSHIP OF THE
CITY COUNCIL UPON THE HAWKESBURY SHIRE COUNCIL
THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF TEMPLE CITY DOES RESOLVE AS
FOLLOWS:
WHEREAS, the City of Temple City and I-Iawkesbury Shire became
Sister Cities in the year 1983; and
WHEREAS, it is the intention of this relationship to foster
governmental cooperation and encourage the people of both communities
to follow the path of friendship; and
WHEREAS, being.Sister Cities gives us the opportunity to share
our cultural and aesthetic development; and
WHEREAS, the Hawkesbury Shire Council has conferred honorary
membership upon the Councilmembers of the City of Temple City.
NOW, THEREFORE, the City Council of the City of Temple City
hereby honors our Sister City community by bestowing honorary mem-
bership of the Temple City City Council on those members of the
Hawkesbury Shire Council.
PASSED, APPROVED and ADOPTED this 6th day of November, 1984.
