Wellsburg, Iowa, January 23, 1958
The Town Council of the Town of 'uellsburg, Io�,va, met in special session in the
Council Chambers in the Town Hall at 1:00 O'clock P.M. on the above date. There
were present Luke u. Gronina, Mayor, in the chair, and the following named Councilmen:
Neil O'Kones, Lester Huisman, H. L. Luwe,
Mayo Tjaden, Alfred Meyer
Absent: None
This being the time and place fixed for a public hearing on the
matter of the adoption of plans, specifications and form of contract
for the construction of a Sewage Treatment Plant and outfall sewer,
the Mayor called for any oral objections to the making of said im-
provements, or to the adoption of the plans, specifications and form
of contract. That oral objections of Clarence Geerdes, Henry Geerdes,
George Paterni and Sherwood Snittjer were offered and the Clerk re-
ported that two written objections thereto have been filed..
The Council considered the objections, oral and written as made.
Councilman Lester Huisman introduced the following Resolution and
moved its adoption, Councilman Neil O'Kones seconded the motion to
adopt. The roll was called and the vote was,
AYES: Neil O'Kones, Lester Huisman, Alfred Aeyer
NAYS: 11. L. Luwe, illayo Tjaden
Whereupon the Mayor declared the followin _-,csolubion duly adopted:

RESOLUTION OVERRULING OBJECTIONS AT THE HEARING
ON THE RESOLUTION OF NECESSITY JANUARY 23, 1958
WHEREAS, on the 23rd day of January, 1958, a hearing on the said
plans, specifications and form of contract was held and
WHEI.EAS, consideration has been given to objections offered thereto
and to the making of said improvements, orally- by the persons Clarence
Geerdes, Henry Geerdes, George Paterni, Sherwood Snittjer and by two
written objections previously filed. thereto by Amanda Nessen, Landlord,
and Arnold Arends and Helen Arends, Tenants, and
WHERE:'.S, each and all of said objections ave been examined, heard,
discussed and ,iven consideration and upon call for further objections,
as reoui_red by, latir, no further objections or objectors were made or
appeared:
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE TO'A'N COUNCIL OF THE TO`'N OF
WELLSBURG, IOWA:
That each and all of said objections, both oral and in writing, as
offered or filed to the snaking of said improvements concerning the con-

struction of a Sewage Treatment Plant and an Outfall Sewer by the said
Town, be and the same are overruled and rejected in each and every
particular.
PASSED AND APPROVED this 23rd day of January, 1958.

Councilman Alfred Meyer introduced the following Resolution and
roved its adoption. Councilman Lester Huisman seconded the motion to
adopt. The roll was called and the vote was,
AYES: Neil O'Kones, Lester Huisman, Alfred Meyer
NAYS: H. L. Luwe, Mayo Tjaden
Whereupon the Mayor declared the following Resolution duly adopted:

RESOLUTION APPROVING PLANS, SPECI-
FICATIONS AND FORM OF CONTR_'iCT
WHEREAS, on the 15th day of July, 1957, plans, specifications and
form of contract was filed with the Town Clerk of Wellsburg, Iowa, for
the construction of a Sewage Treatment Plant and Outfall Sewer in the
Town of Wellsburg, Iowa; and
WHEREAS, notice of hearing on said plans, specifications and form
of contract was published as required by law:
NOW, THEREFOitiE, BE IT RESOLVED BY i'HE TOWN COUNCIL OF THE TOWN OF
WLLSBURG, IOWA:
That the said plans, specifications and form of contract are hereby
approved and adopted as the plans, specifications and form of contract
for said improvements.
PASSED AND APPROVED this 23rd day of January, 1958.
