A SPECIAL ORDINANCE AMENDING THE ZONING MAP AT 275 FT. WAYNE AVENUE, RICHMOND, INDIANA
WHEREAS, the Zoning Map designates and describes the property at 275 Ft. Wayne Avenue as M-1SU Industrial District, Special Use; and
WHEREAS, it is desirable to amend the Special Use District designation to allow a new solid waste transfer station building,
NOW, THEREFORE, be it ordained by the City Council of the City of Richmond, Indiana, that the
Special Use designation of the following property is hereby amended to permit construction of a
new solid waste transfer building commonly known as 275 Ft. Wayne Avenue. Richmond, Indiana,
and more particularly described as situated in the Northwest and Southwest Quarters of Section
33, Township 14 North, Range 1 West, in the City of Richmond, Wayne Township, Wayne County Indiana, being part of a 4.822 acre tract described in Deed Records Volume 416, Page 524, and
all of a 0.483 acres tract described in Deed Records Volume 416, Page 541 in the office of the Wayne County Recorder, and being more particularly described as follows:
Beginning at the intersection of the north line of North F Street and the east line of North 10th Street; thence North 90º00’00” East 807.22 feet along said north l9ne of North F Street,
to the west line of North 12th Street; thence South 00º46’24” West 304.26 feet along and the extension thereof of said west line of North 12th Street, to an iron pipe found, thence
South 85º08’16” West 574.01 feet along the north right-of-way line of the Pennsylvania Railroad, to an iron pin set; thence North 00º00’00” East 302.89 feet along the east line of
a tract described in Deed Records Volume 429, Page 568, also being the west line and the extension thereof of said 0.483 acre tract, to a point on the south line of North F Street,
witness a chain link fence post found North 22º02’12” East 1.08 feet; thence south 90º00’00” West 244.88 feet along the south line of said North F Street, to the centerline of vacated
North 10th Street; thence North 10º00’00” West 50.77 feet along the extension of said centerline of vacated North 10th Street to a point on the north line of North F Street extended;
thence North 90º00’00” East 22.52 feet along the extended north line of said North F Street, to the point of beginning, containing 4.614 acres, more or less is hereby amended for
a new solid waste transfer station building.
Passed and adopted this 25th day of June, 2001, by the Common Council of the City of Richmond, Indiana.
