After Some remarks by the President of the board, relating to ballots, and the legal form of Same, The Seal was broken, and the total number of votes was found to be. James Beazell and P. Moy Board came forward and were sworn in by F.A. Anthony. Clerk of the late Board. J. L. Mitchel and J.H. Taylor having qualified before Justice R.W. Graham and the New Board took their seats. On Motion Wm. M. Mendenhall was chosen as Temporary W.M. Mendenhall elected Chairman Chairman. On Motion of Taylor, seconded by Mitchel Resolution of thanks a resolution of thanks be tendered to A. N. Towne for to A. N. Towne his prompt action in attending to the request to fix the streets in vacinity of the R. R. Crossings. Carried. The Bonds of L. Hilton, Town Marshal and W.F. Mitchel Bonds of Marshal and Town Clerk were read, and referred to the board, and on Clerk approved Motion accepted and ordered filed.
