Downtown Paving Operations Thursday and Friday Nights,
December 10 and 11, 2015
Leesburg, VA (December 9, 2015) – Milling and paving operations will take place on South King
Street, between Market and Loudoun Streets, on Thursday and Friday nights, December 10 and
11, 2015, as a part of the Downtown Improvements Project.
Milling on King Street will begin at 8:00pm on Thursday night, December 10, in preparation for
paving operations on the following night. Paving will begin after 11:00pm on Friday night,
December 11, 2015. During the paving operations, there will be detours in place for short
periods of time.
Town officials anticipate that the milling and paving of South King Street will be the last
construction work on the Downtown Improvement Project until spring 2016.
