A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
TEMPLE CITY, CALIFORNIA, ESTABLISHING VOTING
PRECINCTS AND POLLING PLACES, APPOINTING PRECINCT
BOARD MEMBERS AND FIXING COMPENSATION FOR THE
SPECIAL MUNICIPAL ELECTION OF THE CITY ON TUESDAY,
MARCH 26, 1985, CALLED BY RESOLUTION NO. 84 -2323
OF THE CITY COUNCIL.
WHEREAS, a special municipal election to be held on Tuesday,
March 26, 1985; has been called by Resolution No. 84 -2323, adopted
on December 18, 1984;
NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF TEMPLE CITY,
CALIFORNIA, DOES RESOLVE, DECLARE, DETERMINE AND ORDER AS FOLLOWS:
SECTION 1. That for the purpose of holding the specialmunicipal
election, there is established eight voting precincts consisting (of
consolidations) of the regular election precincts in the City of
Temple City established for the holding of state and county elections,
as the regular election precincts exist on the date of adoption of
this resolution. That the polling places for the respective precincts
shall be the places designated; and that the persons named, being
competent and qualified electors and residents of the City are appoin-
ted precinct board members for their respective voting precincts and
they shall conduct the election in the manner provided by law.

SECTION 2. That the compensation of the persons hereinabove named
as election officers is hereby fixed at the sum of Forty -Five Dollars
($45) for each Inspector and Thirty -Five Dollars ($35) for each Judge
and Clerk for said election. The rental for each of such polling places,
where a charge is made, shall be the sum of Twenty -Five Dollars ($25)
for said election. When required, the compensation of the Custodian of
a building shall be Twelve Dollars ($12) for said election.
SECTION 3. The notice of the place of holding said election is
hereby given and the City Clerk is hereby authorized, instructed and
directed to give such further or additional notice of said election, in
time, form and manner as required by law.
SECTION 4. That the City Clerk shall certify to the passage and
adoption of this Resolution, shall enter the same in the book of original
Resolutions of said City; and shall make a minute of the passage and
adoption thereof in the records of the proceedings of the City Council
of said City, in the minutes of the meeting at which the same is passed
and adopted.
SECTION 5. That this Resolution shall take effect immediately.
