A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY .COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF TEMPLE CITY, CALIFORNIA, ORDERING 'THE CAN-
VASS OF THE SPECIAL MUNICIPAL ELECTION TO BE
HELD ON THE 26th DAY OF MARCH, 1985, TO BE MADE
BY THE "CITY CLERK OF THE CITY OF TEMPLE CITY
WHEREAS, a special municipal election wili'be held and con-
ducted in the City of Temple City, California, on Tuesday,
March 26, 1985, as required by law; and
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City desires the canvass of
the election to be made by the City Clerk of the City;
NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF TEMPLE CITY,
CALIFORNIA, DOES RESOLVE, DECLARE, DETERMINE AND ORDER AS FOLLOWS:
SECTION 1. That pursuant to Section 22932.5 of the Elections
Code of the State of California, the canvass of the special muni-
cipal election to be held in the City is ordered to be made by the
City Clerk.
SECTION 2. That the City Clerk of the City shall prior to
April 2, 1985, complete the canvass of the election and shall cer-
tify the results to this City Council on April 2, 1985.
SECTION 3. That the City Clerk shall certify to the passage
and adoption of this Resolution and enter it into the book of origi-
nal Resolutions of said City, and shall make a minute of the pas-
sage and adoption thereof in the records of the proceedings of the
City Council of said City, in the minutes of the meeting at which
the same is passed and adopted.
SECTION 4. That this Resolution shall take effect immediately.
PASSED, APPROVED and ADOPTED this 5th day of March, 1985.

I hereby certify that the foregoing Resolution was duly
adopted by the City Council of the City of Temple City at a regu-
lar meeting thereof, held on the 5th day of March, 1985, by the
following vote:
AYES: Councilmen- Atkins, Dennis, Gillanders, Tyrell, Swain
NOES: Councilmen -None
ABSENT: Councilmen -None
