AYES: COUNCILMEN BYORK,HENNING, ROWE, THOMPSON, MORRIS NOES: NONE ABSENT: NONE City Clerk, City of Lyn ood 'mil I t ,1 .. t. February 24, 1984 Dear Sirs: We, the interested neighbors of Lynwood would like to present a problem .to the distinguished city council cf Lynwood for your consideration. It has recently come to our attention that some oP the properties located on Cortland and Brewster Streets have bean zoned as P-1 or "Automobile Parking." According to this zone law, no structural improvements can be made to all the properties involved. This poses a hardship to same of the growing families of Lynwood, who would very much like-to make stuctural improvements oai their properties. There is also the consideration of the value of our homes. In the event a sale of our homes became aecessary, the zoning laws could be an inhibitor to our successfully 'selling our home. It is very difficult to get financing on property that is not R-1 or residential. 4Ie would certainly appreciate pour reconsideration of this matter. The citizens of Lynwood are interested in building a strong city of Lynwood and we are sure that with the aid of the city council that is currently in place, that these goals will be acheived. ~f~3 o Gazes ,~~ ~ , 934t ~REWS7'E2 f~~ L nwood/Interested Neighbors.
