A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF
THE CITY OF LYNWOOD AUTHORIZING AN
AGREEMENT WITH THE STATE OF CALIFORNIA,
PERSONNEL BOARD
WHEREAS, The City of Lynwood has contracted with the
State Personnel Board, Cooperative Personnel Services Division,
since 1967; and
WHEREAS, The present Agreement with the State Personnel
Board expired June 30, 1984; and
WHEREAS, Under the provisions of the Agreement, the
Cooperative Personnel Services Division furnishes written ex-
aminations for specified classifications upon the request of
the City; and
WHEREAS, No direct cost is incurred by the Agreement,
as the City is billed for materials ordered and received; and
WHEREAS, In order to minimize paperwork, it has been
the City's practice to renew this Agreement for three-year
terms:
DTOW, THEREFORE, the City Council of the City of
Lynwood does hereby find, determine, order and resolve as follows:
Section 1: That Mayor E. L. Morris be authorized
to enter into and sign a three-year Agreement with the State of
California, California State Personnel Board, Cooperative Per-
sonnel Services, for the purpose of performing examination
services for the City of Lynwood;
Section 2: This Resolution shall become effective
immediately upon its adoption.
