A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF LYNWOOD APPROVING A FIFTH AMENDMENT TO THE
REIMBURSABLE CONTRACT BETWEEN THE COUNTY OF
LOS ANGELES AND THE CITY OF LYNWOOD FOR THE
COMMUNITY DEVELOPMENT BLOCK GRANT PROGRAM

WHEREAS, on November 10, 1981, the City entered into an
Agreement with the County of Los Angeles regarding cooperation in
undertaking activities authorized by the Housing and Community
Development Act of 1974, as amended; and
WHEREAS, on April 17, 1984, the City Council approved
the preparation of an application for tenth year CDBG funds; and
WHEREAS, the County of Los Angeles has prepared a
Contract amendment, amendment #5, for implementation of tenth
year CDBG projects; and
WHEREAS, the City desires to implement tenth year CDBG
projects;
NOW, THEREFORE, be it resolved by the City Council of
the City of Lynwood, as follows:
Section 1. That the Contract attached as Exhibit 1 is
hereby approved and the Mayor authorized to execute.
PASSED, APPROVED and ADOPTED this 19th day of June
1984.
