RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
LYNWOOD APPPOVING THE DIRECTOR OF PUBLIC WORKS/
CITY ENGINEER'S REPORT AND AUTHORIZING LEVY OF
ASSESSMENT COVER]NG THE EXPENSE OF ABATING DRY
AND DRYING WEEDS FOR THE 1983-84 FISCAL YEAR.

WiIEREEAS, the Directr~r of Public Works/City Engineer has hereto-
fore filed with the City Council a report setting forth the actual cost
of the abatement of dry and drying weeds that existed on certain parcels
of land in the City of Lynwood for the 1983-84 fiscal year.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City
of Lynwood, as follows:
SECTION 1. That said report, together with the assessment
roll showing the various parcels of land assessed for abating said
nuisance, is hereby adopted and approved unmodified.
SECTION 2. That the levying of the assessment is hereby
authorized and approved.
SECTION 3. That the City Clerk is hereby directed to transmit
to the County of Los Angeles Tax Collector the assessment roll for assess-
ment and collection.
SECTION 4. This resolution shall take effect immediately upon
its adoption.
