A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
LYNWOOD DECLARING ITS INTENTION TO CONDUCT A
PUBLIC HEARING TO ASCERTAIN b~HETHER A NUISANCE IS
BEING MAINTAINED ON CERTAIN REAL PROPERTY.
~ WHEREAS, the City P~!anager of the City of Lynwood has recommended
0 that this City Council find that certain premises within the City of
~ Lynwood may be maintained ih such a way as to constitute a nuisance; and,
WHEREAS, certain procedures are set forth in Chapter 21 of the
City Code of the City of Lynwood, pursaunt to which nuisances may be abated,
WHEREAS, the conditions on said-property which may constitute a
nuisance are:
Unmoved grass and dried weeds throughout the yards, parkway
and trash and debris scattered throughout the premises.
2. Untrimmed trees and bushes.
3. Abandoned vehicles and campers hell on the driveway.
4. Abandoned boat in rear yard.
5. Dilapidated wooden fence along the easterly property line.
6. Unsecured (open) door of rear unit.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the City Council of Lynwood
does hereby resolve as follows:
Section 1. Based upon the aforesaid recommendation of the City
Manager, this Council hereby finds and determines that the following describe-'
property may be presently be maintained in such a manner as to constitute
a nuisance. Such property is described as Lot 197 of Tract 7984, generally
known as 11030 Virginia Avenue, City of Lynwood.
Section 2. The method(s) by which said conditions could be
abated include:
a. Remove all grass and dried weeds from the yards and
parkway and clean up all trash and debris scattered throughout the,
premises.
b. Trim all trees and bushes.
c. Remove vehicles and campershell from the premises.
d. .Remove boat from the premises.
e. Remove dilapidated wooden fence along the easterly property
line.
~" f. Secure (lock or board up) rear door of rear unit - 11028.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED THAT THIS COUNCIL therefore declares its
intention to conduct a public hearing, pursuant to Chapter 21 of the City
Code of Lynwood to ascertain whether the above described conditions con-
stitute a public nuisance, the abatement of which is appropriate under the
public power of the City of Lynwood, and,
THE CITY COUNCIL hereby fixes the hour of 7:3G p.m., July 17, as the
time and the City Council Chambers, 11330 Bullis Road, as the place for saic!
public hearing; and the City Clerk is authorized and directed to serve and
post certified copies of the resolution in the manner set forth in Section
22-A.4 of the Lynwood City Code.

PASSED, APPROVED AND ADOPTED at a regular meeting of the City of
