A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
LYNWOOD APPRWING THE SALE OF PROPERTY NECESSARY
FOR THE CONSTRUCTION OF THE I-105 (CENPURY)
FREEWAY.
WHEREAS, the City of Lynwood and the State of California,
Department of Transportation, have heretofore entered into a Freeway
Agreement on November 17, 1982, for the construction of the Route 7
Freeway between the Paramount City limits and Sim[nerdale Street and the
South Gate City Limits at Imperial Highway and the Route I-105 Freeway
between the City limits at Mona Boulevard and the City limits near
Route 7, and
WHEREAS, abandoned well site at 11831 Vieta Avenue and abandoned
well site at southeast corner of Josephine Steet and Wright Road are within
the proposed Century Freeway right of way.
WfiII2EA,S, the State of California, Department of Transportation,
has proposed to acquire said two well sites with the compensation of
$10,600 and $250 respectively.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City
of Lynwood as follows:
SECTION 1. That the Grant Deed and right-of-way documents attached hereto
as Exhibit "A", are hereby adopted, approved, and ratified; and,
SECTION 2. The mayor of the City Council of the City of Lynwood is
authorized and directed to execute said docurent for, and on behalf of the
City of Lynwood.
SECTION 3. This resolution shall take effect immediately won adoption.
