A RESOLUTION BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF
TIC CITY OI' LYNWOOD, CALIFORNIA,
ESTABLISHING A SECTION 3 AFFIRMATIVE
ACPION PLAN AS RI7~UIRED BY 'fI~ IIOUSING AND
URBAN DFVEL.OP1'T~VT ACI` OF 1968.
LEAS, the City of Lynwood, California, receives financial assistance
from the Department of housing and Urban Development for the implementation
~, of its Corrmunity Development Block Grant Pron ain; and,
~ i
'- IIIIIIZEAS, the Mousing and Urban Development (HUD) Act of 1968 (ACT)
requires the establishment of a Section 3 Affirmative Action Plan by those
entities receiving such assistance; and,
WHEREAS, Coim~unity Development Department Staff has developed said
plan in accordance with the terms and conditions of the HUD Act;
NOW, TIIIIiEFORE, be it resolved by the City Council of the City of
Lynwood, as follows:
Section 1. That the Section 3 Affirmative Action Plan attached as
exhibit I is hereby approved.
