til~[zFAS, nursauant to the recommendation of the City P°anager of the City
of Lynwood, this City Council has previously found that certain premises, here-
inafter snore fully described, are presently being maintained in such a manner
as to constitute a nuisance;
[~Il?TRE'A~, in light of said finding, this Council adopted a resolution
declaring its intention to conduct a public hearing to ascertain whether a
nuisance is being maintained on said,,.property;
L'EEPFAS, this Council has held on hearing and has heard and considered
all relevant evidence and testimony from all interested persons desiring to be
heard concerning the conditions constituting the alleged nuisance and the
proposed rehabilitation, removal and demolition thereof;
*?O', T1fEFI~SOPF, the City Council of the City of Lynwood does hereby find,
determine, order and resolve as follows:
Section 1. The property described as Lot 197 of Tract 7984, generally
known as 1030 Virginia Avenue, Zynwood, California, is hereby found and de-
clared to be a public nuisance as defined in Chapter 7.1 of the Lynwood City Code.
Section 2. the particular conditions of said property which are here-
~ by found and determined to constitute a nuisance are described as follows:
].. Thunowed grass and dried weeds throughout the yards, parkway and
trash and debris scattered throughout the premises.
2. TTntrimmed trees and bushes.
3. Abandoned vehicles and campershell on the driveway
4. Abandoned boat in rear yard.
5. Dilapidated wooden fence along the easterly property line.
6. Unsecured (open) door of rear unit. '
Sectioxi 3. It is father found and determined that, in order to abate
said nuisance it will be necessary that the following steps be taken:
a. Remove all grass and dried weeds from the yards and parkway and
clean up all trash and debris scattered throughout the premises.
b. Trim all trees and bushes.
c. Remove vehicles and campershell from the premises.
d. Remove boat from the premises.
e. Pemove dilapidated wooden fence along the easterly property line.
f. Secure (lock or board up) rear door of rear unit - 110?8.
Section 4. 'She owner of said property, Dlr. F'illiams, is ordered and.
directed to take said steps and to abate said nuisance.

Section 5. If the property owner fails to take the steps as provided
in this resolution within theirty (30) days after the date this resolution is
posted upon the property, the City of Lynwood. shall immediately cause the same
to be abated by City personnel or private contractor and such personnel or
persons under contractor and such personnel or persons under contract are ex-
pressly authorized to enter upon the premises for such purposes.
Section 6. In the event the City of Lynwood causes that aforementioned
nuisance to~ie-abated by City personnel or private contract, the owner of the
premises shall be liable to said City. All said costs shall constitute a
special assessment against the subject property.
Section 7. The City Clerk is authorized and directed to post conspic-
uously at~ast one copy of this resolution the subject property and to send
another copy of this resolution by registered or certified mail, postage pre-
paid, return receipt requested, to the owner of the land as his name and
address appear on the last equalized assessment roll or is known to the City
Clerk.
The failure of any owner or other person to receive such notice shall not
affect in any manner the validity of any proceedings taken hereinunder.
