A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
LYNWOOD, CALIFORNIA, DETERMINING THAT A NUISANCE
IS BEING MAINTAINED ON CERTAIN PROPERTY GENERALLY
KNOWN AS 11168 POPE AVENUE AND DIRECTING THE ABATE-
MENT THEREOF.
WHEREAS, pursauant to the recommendation of the City Manager
of the City of Lynwood, this City Council has previously found that
certain premises, hereinafter more fully described, are presently
being maintained in such a manner as to constitute a nuisance;
WHEREAS, in light of said finding, this Council adopted a re-
solution declaring its intention to conduct a public hearing to
ascertain whether a nuisance is being maintained on said property;
WHEREAS, this Council has held on hearing and has heard and
considered all relevant evidence and testimony from all interested
persons desiring to be heard concerning the conditions constituting
the alleged nuisance and the proposed rehabilitation, removal and
demolition thereof;
NOW, THEREFORE, the City Council of the City of Lynwood does
hereby find, determine, order and resolve as follows:
Section 1. The property described as Lot 326 of Tract 7984,
f'^ generally known as 11168 Pope Avenue, Lynwood, California, is here-
by found and declared to be a public nuisance as defined in Chapter
21 of the Lynwood City Code.
Section 2. The particular conditions of said property which
are hereby found and determined to constitute a nuisance are de-
scribed as follows:
1. Dried woods, trash and debris in front rear and side yards.
2. Untrimmed trees and bushes.
3. Unsecured doors and windows of house and accessory buildiny
(guest house) in rear.
Section 3. It is further found and determined that, in order
to abate said nuisance it will be necessary that the following steps
be taken:

all yards.
Trim all trees and bushes.

n 4. The owner of said property, Mr. Tolbert, is
directed to take said steps and to abate said nuisance
Section 5. If the property owner fails to take the steps
as provided in this resolution within thirty (30) days after the
date this resolution is posted upon the property, the City of Lynwood
shall immediately cause the same to be abated by City personnel or
private contractor and such personel or persons under contract are
expressly authorized to enter upon the premises for such purposes.

The failure of any owner or other person to receive such notice
shall not affect in any manner the validity of any proceedings
taken hereinunder.
PASSED, APPROVED AND ADOPTED at a regular meeting of the City
of Lynwood held on the 17th day of Julv 1984.

do hereby certify that the foregoing resolution was passed and
adopted by the City Council of the City of Lynwood at a regular
meeting held on the 17th day of July 1984.
