A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF LYNWOOD AMENDING THE EMPLOYEE
CLASSIFICATION AND POSITION PLAN BY
ADOPTING THE JOB DESCRIPTIONS FOR ASSISTANT
TO THE CITY MANAGER AND SENIOR PLANNER;
AMENDING THE FY 1984/85 SALARY SCHEDULE
TO INCLUDE THE POSITION OF ASSISTANT TO
THE CITY MANAGER AT 5M AND SENIOR PLANNER
AT 5M; AMENDING THE AUTHORIZED POSITION
LIST; AND AMENDING THE FY 1984/85 BUDGET
WHEREAS, The City Council has reviewed the proposed
changes in organization and staffing; and
WHEREAS, The City Council has reviewed the job descrip-
tions for the positions of Assistant to the City Manager and
Senior Planner; and
WHEREAS, The City Council has found these changes to
be necessary to achieve greater organizational effectiveness:
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of
the City of Lynwood that:
Section 1. The employee classification and position
plan is amended to include the job descriptions of Assistant to
the City Manager and Senior Planner;
Section 2. The FY 1984/85 Salary Schedule is amended
to include the position of Assistant to the City Manager at SM
and Senior Planner at SM;
Section 3. The authorized. Position list is amended
to reflect these changes;
Section 4. The FY 1984/85 Budget is amended and an
additional appropriation made to the following accounts:

1-4101-1201 - Retirement - - - 1,000
1-4103-1101 - Salaries - - - - -3,000
1-4103-1201 - Retirement - - - - 400
1-4103-1204 - Insurance - - - - 1,400
