A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF LYNWY)OD AUTHORIZING AN APPIdOPRIATION OF
ONE xr~mRED TxovsAND DOLLARS ($loo,ooo> FoR
SUPPLEMENTAL TO CONSULTANT CONTRACT WITH DMA
CONSULTANT ENGINEERS.
WHEREAS, the City and DMA Consulting Engineers entered into a Con-
„ sultant Agreement on May 1, 1984 for water system relocation study in connection
~ with proposed I-105 (Century) Freeway; and
I
WHEREAS, it has been detPrm;ned that the preparation of plans,
specifications and cost estimates be added to the previously approved Consultant
Agreement to avoid the delay of projects that would be caused by the City in
retaining another consultant; and
WHEREAS, the cost of the work to be performed under Consultant Agree-
ment was $18,037.50 and, by reason of the increased costs referred to the above,
the cost to the City will be $118,037.50; and
WHEREAS, Caltrans will reimburse the City 1000 of the total cost; and
Wf~2EA.S, this additional cost of one hundred thousand dollars was not
accounted for in the budget of fiscal year 1984-85; and
WHEREAS, THE CITY COUNCIL has studied this appropriation and its
budget implications.
NOW, THEFtEE'ORE, BE IT RESOLUID by the City Council of the City of
Lynwood that:
