' • c Re-Roofing Fee Summary: Attorney Green_leaf commented the city follows the IBC (international building code). Reroofs are listed in that code. He further commented that plumbers and electricians are all licensed,but roofers are not required to be licensed. It was stated that Coralville and,Iowa City took out the reroofing,., inspection by ordinance. Council person Ryan stated it is about public policy and public protection of the greater ,, - good. No action required as the reroofing permit fee will remain in effect. { New Business Amended Financial Reports: With the upgrade of adding the utility module to our Data Technologies package,'it was not relayed that all utility payments will automatically go into the system and they would not have to be . entered. For the past two months,the utility deposits were entered twice because of this issue.The accounts ' have been corrected/updated and amended financial information has been printed for June and July 2012.Also, .° included.was a payable listing for approval. Motion made by Bartels to approve amended financial reports, and payables,seconded by Ryan.All ayes. Motion passed unanimously. ;., , , Seeding of out lot A behind Rolling Hills:The City was approached by Mr. Pasch because he is working on a home that wants to seed, not sod, on Rolling Hills Drive.The city owns out lot A behind that area Mr. Pasch said that he could do the seeding of out lot A for the price of the seed and the new home owner said he would'water the seed for the city if he could receive a water credit for that event. Motion made by Ryan to approve,the seeding of out lot A not to exceed $1,000 and give a water credit to homeowner, seconded by Upton.All ayes. M_ otion passed unanimously, It was also conveyed that Anthony in'Parks should monitor this process. a Appointment to the'MPO & ECICOG: Mayor Berner appointed himself as the designated representative of both groups,•to fill the position left open by Council person Ball's resignation.Administrator Jackson is the alternate and will attend the meetings is necessary.
