AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF JEFFERSON, MISSOURI, AUTHORIZING A
SUPPLEMENTAL APPROPRIATION TO THE JEFFERSON CITY POLICE
DEPARTMENT AMENDING THE 2019-2020 ANNUAL BUDGET AND AUTHORIZING
THE EXPENDITURE OF SUCH FUNDS.
BE IT ENACTED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF JEFFERSON, MISSOURI, AS
FOLLOWS:
Section 1. There is hereby granted a supplemental appropriation within the
Jefferson City Police Department Budget in the amount of $15,000 as indicated on Exhibit
A, attached hereto.
Section 2. The Jefferson City Police Department is authorized to utilize this money
for the purchase of replacing SWAT vest carriers using Drug Forfeiture Justice Funds.
Section 3. This Ordinance shall be in full force and effect from and after the date of
its passage and approval.

* The Reserve for Drug Forfeiture - Justice account, which is part of the City's restricted
fund balance, had a balance of $121,546.58 at the end of fiscal year 2019.
