A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF LYNWOOD AUTHORIZING AN APPROPRIATI~V OF FIFPY
ONE THOUSAND DOLLARS ($51,000) FOR SUPPrFrvt~mrrAL
~ CONSULTANT CONTRACT WITH AHB ASSOCIATES, INC.
WHEREAS, the City and AHB Associates, Inc. entered into a Consultant
Agreement on May 1, 1984 for sewer system relocation study in connection with
proposed I-105 (Century) Freeway; and
WHES2EAS, it has been determined that the preparation of plans,
I specifications and cost estimates be added to the previously approved Consul-
tant Agreement to avoid the delay of projects that would be caused by the City
in retaining another consultant; and
WHEREAS, the cost of the work to be performed under Consultant Agree-
ment was $19,060.00 and, by reason of the increased costs referred to the above,
the cost to the City will be $70,334.24; and
WHEREAS, Caltrans will reimburse the City 1000 of the total cost; and
WHEREAS, this additional cost of fifty one thousand dollars was not
accounted for in the budget of fiscal year 1984-85; and
WHEREAS, THE CITY COUNCIL has studied this appropriation and its
budget implications.
NOW, THEREE'ORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of
Lynwood that:
Section 1. The City Manager be authorized to make the following
changes and appropriation:
