AWARDING CONTRACT FOR
2003 MINI BUS REPAIRS
WHEREAS, the Borough ofCarteret is in need of repairs to the 2003 Ford Mini Bus; and
WHEREAS, the Borough Purchasing Agent has solicited and received one bid proposal for said
bus as follows:
I. Superior Maintenance Auto Center $2,398.50

WHEREAS, Superior Maintenance Auto Center was the submitted the lowest bid for said bus as
evidenced by the response on file with the Borough Purchasing Agent; and
WHEREAS, the Borough Purchasing Agent has reviewed the above bid proposal and has
recommended the award of a contract to Superior Maintenance Auto Center; and
- WHEREAS, the chief financial officer has certified that funds are or will be available for said
purpose.
NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED by the Mayor and Council of the Borough of
Carteret as follows:
I. That the appropriate Borough Officials are hereby authorized to enter into a
contract with Superior Maintenance Auto Center for the repair of the 2003
Ford Mini Bus for the sum of $2,398.50, in accordance in all respects with the
request for proposals and bid on same.
Adopted this 9th day of November, 2004
and certified as a true copy of the
original on November 10, 2004.
