CITY COUNCIL “PRE-MEETING” WORK SESSION, MARCH 16, 2020
CALL TO ORDER
Mayor Carrie Tergin called the March 16, 2020 City Council “Pre-Meeting” to order at
5:45 P.M. to review the agenda.
ATTENDANCE
The following Council Members were present when the meeting convened:
Present: Graham, Hensley, Hussey, Kemna, Mihalevich, Prather, Schreiber,
Ward
Absent: Fitzwater, Wiseman
A quorum was present.
DISCUSSION OF AGENDA ITEMS
Councilman Fitzwater will lead the prayer.
Miscellaneous Agenda
- At the recommendation of social distancing related to the COVID-19 virus,
citizens receiving recognition and proclamations have chosen not to attend
the City Council meeting. Items A – E will not be presented.
- Kristi Campbell, Director of the Cole County Health Department, will provide
an update on COVID-19.
Consent Agenda
- There were no questions at this time.
Bills Introduced
- City Staff provided a summary of their respective bills introduced.
- Mayor Tergin and Staff recommended suspending the rules for the introduced
bills in case future City Council meetings are postponed or can celled due to
COVID-19.
Councilman Fitzwater arrived at the meeting at 5:50 p.m.
Councilwoman Wiseman arrived at the meeting at 5:54 p.m.

- City Staff provided a summary on their respective pending bills.
