A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY OF LYNWOOD ACCEPTING
ALL EASEMENTS OFFERED FOR DEDICATION NECESSARY
FOR THE CONSTRUCTION OF THE SIDEWALK AND
WHEELCHAIR RAMP ON HALO DRIVE.
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Lynwood has
determined that the easements are necessary for the convenience,
welfare, and safety of the public, and
WHEREAS, it has been determined that the best interest
of the City shall be served by the acceptance of said easements,
and
WHEREAS, the project has been analyzed and approved by
the Department of Community Development, Planning Division.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF
THE-CITY OF LYNWOOD AS FOLLOWS:
` Section 1. The following described easements are
necessary for the sidewalk and wheelchair ramp on Halo Drive:
The Westerly ten (10) feet of that portion of Lot 10 of
the Slausson Tract; as per map recorded in Book 3, Page 348, of
Miscellaneous Records of Los Angeles County, California; described
as follows:
Beginning at the Northwest corner of Lot 27 of Tract No.
19022, as per map recorded in Book 505, Pages 1 and 2 of
:Maps, records of said County; thence along the Westerly
' prglongation of the Northerly line of said Lot 27, North
76 12' 49" West 10 feet to the Easterly line of Halo
Drive, 50 feet wide, as shown on said last mentioned map;
thence along the boundary line of Halo Drive, as shown
on said last mention~d map, North 13° 47' 11" East 148.00
feet thence North 55 43' 06" East 14.96 feet; thence
South 13° 47' 11" west 159.13 feet to the point of the
'beginning.
TO BE KNOWN AS HALO DRIVE.
Section 2. That the above described easements have been
offered for dedication to the City by: AMERICAN BAPTIST CHURCHES
OF THE PACIFIC SOUTHWEST, a California religious corporation, and
TRUEVINE OF LYNWOOD BAPTIST CHURCH.
