A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
LYNWOOD TO RESCIND RESOLUTION NO. 81-159 AT
3540 VIRGINIA AVENUE, CITY OF LYNWOOD (ASSESSOR'S
(~ PARCEL NO. 6175-016-011)
WHEREAS, the City Council ofthe City of Lynwood
during one of the regular Council Meetings during 1982, in an
Executive Session, agreed to rescind the cost of Resolution
No. 81-159; and
WHEREAS, no steps have been made to rescind this
matter with the County Recorder.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED:
Section 1. Tne Abatement Cost Report of the Director
of Building and Planning on file with the City Clerk and attached
hereto as an exhibit. The costs of said abatement, totaling
$4,123.60 is hereby to be rescinded against the property located
at 3540 Virginia Avenue and more particularly described in the
attached Abatement Cost Report.
Section 2. The County Assessor, County Tax Collector
and Auditor are hereby authorized and directed, upon receipt of
this Resolution to rescind the same and to proceed to deduct the
amount of the assessment indicated in the abatement cost report
from the next regular bill of taxes levied against the parcel
of land described herein and to enter in the County Assessment
Book opposite the property described herein and referred to in
the Abatement Cost Report. No penalties shall be assessed
against the property.
Section 3. The City Clerk is hereby directed to cause
a copy of this resolution to be served upon the owner of the
property by registered or certified mail addressed to the owner
at the last known address of the owner, pursuant to Section 21-20
of the Lynwood Municipal Code.
