Regular Meeting
The Board of Trustees of the Town of Livermore
convened in regular meeting at 8 o clock P M
Present. Trustees Murphy, Myers, Kennedy,
Victor and Knox
Absent , None
President Murphy in the Chair
Reports of Clerk, Marshal and Treasure were
read and ordered filed
Reports Trustee Meyers of the Fire and Water
Committee reported that the Committee had
inspected to Town Jail and found that certain
improvements and alteration should be made
On Motion it was ordered that the Committee
have the necessary work done and repairs made
The following bills were read, examined
and approved by the finance Committee, and
Allowed by the Board and the Clerk instructed
to draw Warrants on the Treasurer for the
several amounts:

On Motion the bill of Ph Meyer for Electric
Lights was laid over for one week.
J Twisselman made application for a free
Liquor license, stating that he was a cripple
unable to work, sick and unable to pay
Twisselman On Motion of Trustee Meyers, Seconded by
granted Trustee Victor it was ordered that J Twisselman
free license be granted a free license for the term of three
months.
On motion it was ordered, "That any corporation
Company or person supplying water to the Town
of Livermore or to the inhabitants there of shall
furnish to the Board of Trustees of the Town of Livermore
a detailed statement, verified by the oath of the
president and secretary of such corporation of company
or of such person, as the case may be, showing
the name of each water-rate payer, his or her
Notice to place of residence and the amount paid for water
Water Co's for each of suck water-rate payers during the
year preceding the date of this motion and also
showing all revenue derived from all sources
and an itemized statement of Expenditures
made for supplying water during said time
Accompanying the above statement with
a detailed statement, verified in like manner
as the statement above, showing the amount
of money actually expended annually, since
commencing business, in the purchase, construction
and maintanance respectively of the property
necessary to the carrying on of business, and also
the gross cash receipts annually for the same
period fro all sources"
Health officer Dr J K Warner stated that he
Health had consulted the County Health Officer and
Officer Supervisor Horner in regard to cases of Small
pox at Tesla. The gentleman stated that the
situation was grave; that the matter would
be more thoroughly investigated and proper steps
taken to isolate the cases, and precautions taken
to prevent the spread of the desease
The Street Committee was instructed to make
necessary repairs of First Street where the gutter
is being placed along the Stevens property
The Marshal reported that he had been unable
P L Levys to collect P L Levys license, On motion it was

up on close his doors.

Called Meeting
The Board of Trustees of the Town of Livermore
met persuant to a call by the President at
8 oclock P. M.
Present Trustees Murphy, Meyers, Knox, Victor
Absent Trustee Kennedy.
President Murphy in the Chair
The Chairman stated that the meeting had been
called for the purpose of taking action to compel
Ph Meyer or his surities to fulfil their contract
to light the Town of Livermore
On motion of Trustee Knox seconded by Trustee
Victor the following motion was made and
passed and the Clerk instructed to forward
copy to the Pacific Surety Company, Ph Meyer
and the Trustee of Ph Meyer, bankrupt,
" The Pacific Surety Co', a corporation, will

please take notice, that on the 28 day of May
1900, the Town of Livermore by resolution and
order of its Board of Trustees, duly and regularly
adopted and passed, awarded to Ph Meyer,
a contract for lighting the said Town of Livermore
with arc Electric lights, as in said contract

specified for two years from the 15 day of
June 1900. Said order and resolution provide
that the said Meyer should give the Town
of Livermore a bond in the sum of $ 2500-
for the faithful performance by him of the
said contract with the Town of Livermore
That the Town of Livermore, a Municipal
corporation, has not been with Electric lighting
according to the terms and provisions of said
written contract of date, June 1900. Existing
between Ph Meyer, the party of the first part, and
the Town of Livermore, a Municipal Corporation,
the party of the second part.
Said lighting contract provides that the
said party of the first part should give unto the
party of the second part, a good and sufficient
bond for the faithful performance of the covenants
and agreements therein contained in the sum
of $ 2500. _ That in compliance with the
requirement said contract toe Pacific
Surety Co. a corporation, under its corporate
name and seal, duly executed and delivered
'to the Town of Livermore, its bond, by the terms
of which it firmly bound itself to the Town
of Livermore, in the sum of $2500.00 for the
faithful performance of said lighting contract
You are further notified that no Electric
lighting had been furnished to the Town of
Livermore, under the said contract, since the

14 day of January 1901. and that there is now
and had been a complete breach and failure
in furnishing light to the Town of Livermore
according to the terms of said contract, to
said Town of Livermore, as provided in said
lighting contract, and that the town of Livermore does
hereby hold you, the said Pacific Surety Co;
a corporation, on your bond for the damage
provided for in said lighting contract.
There being no further business the Board adjourned

License of On motion the license of P L Levy, $25, and
P L Levy & license of J H Ravikes, $3, were revoked, the Marshal
J H Ravikus informing the Board that they had gone out of business
were revoked A Communication was received from Harron
Bros, claiming that an mount in excess of the
Complaint rate established by ordinance was being charged
of Harron Bros by the Livermore Water and Power Co for water
excessive consumed on their premises. The complaint
Water rate was referred to the Fire and Water Committee
The annual Report form the Livermore
Water Co's Water Power Co was presented. It was
Annual Rept referred to the Fire and Water Committee
On motion the meeting adjourned to Saturday

The Board of Trustees of the Town of Livermore
met persuant to adjournment at 8 Oclock P M
Present, Trustees Kennedy, Knox, Meyers,
Murphy and Victor
Absent, None
The following resolution was read and
unanimously adopted.
Resolved. That whereas the Pacific Surety Co;
a corporation, has in writing under its corporate
Resolution name and seal, requested and consents that
granting the Board of Trustees of the Town of Livermore, Cal.
time to hold in obeyance all matters relating to the
Pac Surety Co lighting of said Town of Livermore, under and by
virtue of a certain contract for the lighting of said
Town by Electricity, entered into by the said Town
of Livermore and Ph Meyer.
Therefore be it further resolved that all matters
relating to lighting of said Town of Livermore
under the agreement aforesaid be held in obeyance

until the 20 day of February 1901, without in
any way effecting the rights of the parties entrusted
therein. This resolution shall in no way effect
the rights of the Town of Livermore against the
Pacific Surety Co., on its bond, as surety for the
performance of the terms of said lighting contract,
It is further resolved that no liability shall be incurred
by said Surety Co. during the time this matter is
held in obeyance "
W J Dongu The Clerk was instructed to notify W J Dongu
notified the President of the Livermore Water and Power
Co, to appear in person or by representitive before
this Board with regard to fixing water rates

for the ensuing year, on Tuesday the 19 day of
February at 8 oclock P. M.
New bond A new bond in the sum of Four thousand Dollars
of W H Taylor was filed presented by W H Taylor, the Treasurer, with
M H Beck, Ruben Hunter, O L Livermore, and
E Pronzini as sureties. It was referred to the
Town Attorney for examination.

as to cost and value of their plant, No action was

The Board of Trustees of the Town of Livermore
met pursuant to adjournment at 8 oclock P. M.

A new bond of D A Smith, Marshall, with

Joseph Fletcher, E Pronzini, John Sweeny & J O MKown as sureties
was presented, It was referred to the Town Attorney for examination
Trustee Knox offered the following resolution
Resolved that , whereas, W J Eardley, Trustee
in Bankruptcy of the estate of Philip Meyer,
and the Pacific Surety Co. a corporation, as surety
on the bond of said Philip Meyer, for the faithful
performance of the contract hereinafter mentioned,
have applied to the Town of Livermore, Cal. to have
cancelled and annulled a certain contract of
date - June 1900 - between Philip Meyer and
the Town of Livermore, for supplying said town
with Electric lights.
Therefore be it resolved by resolution of the
Board of Trustees of the town of Livermore, that
the President of the Board of Trustee of said Town
of Livermore, duly attested by the Clerk, is
hereby authorized and empowered for and in
the name of said Town of Livermore, to sigh
and execute, in duplicate, the following contract
and release, in words and figures following,
to wit :-
Know all men by these presents: That I
W J Eardly, Trustee in Bankruptcy of the Bankrupt
Estate of Philip Meyer, the party of the first part,
and the Town of Livermore, the party of the second
part, Witnesseth: That we have cancelled;
annulled and rescinded, and do hereby cancel,
annul and rescind that certain contract dated
__ June 1900. between Philip Meyer and the
Town of Livermore, for the supply of Electric
lights to said Town of Livermore : and said
first party release the said second party from
all liability under or be reason of said contract.
And the said second party hereby released the
said Philip Meyer, the bankrupt estate of
Philip Meyer and the surety on the bond of
said Meyer, for the faithful performance
of the said contract, from any and all liability
under or by reason of said contract.
In Witness whereof, the said W L Eardley ,
Trustee in bankruptcy, thereunto duly authorized,
the party of the first part, and Town of
Livermore, by it duly authorized officers,
have hereunto set their hands and seals,

The Board of Trustees of the Town of Livermore convened
in special session on the above date at 7.30 PM
Present Trustees Kennedy, Knox, Meyers, Murphy.
Absent None
President Murphy in the Chair
The Chairman stated that the meeting had been
called for the purpose of taking some action in regard
to Nickel in the slot machines now being used to several
of the Saloons in town in violation of Section 7 of Ordinance
No 17.
On motion it was ordered that the Marshal notify
all persons to discontinue and remove from their places
of business, all Nickel in the slot Machines now running
in violation of Section of ordinance No 17 of this town

The Board of Trustees of the Town of Livermore
met pursuant to adjournment at 8 oclock PM

The Fire and Water Committee presented an expert
opinion on the value of the Livermore Water and Power
Companys Las Positas Springs plant, made by
John Aylward _ The value of said plant was
estimated at $ 45091.25., It was resubmitted to
the committee after being read, with directions to have
a draft of an ordinance prepared fixing water-rates
for the present year, to be presented on Monday May
th
6.
The Marshal reported that all the Saloons had
discontinued using Nickel-in-the-Slot machines,
and that there were none now running in town
to his knowledge

The Board of Trustees of the Town of Livermore met
in regular session at 8 oclock PM

Monthly reports of Clerk, Marshal, Treasurer and
Health - officer were read and ordered filed.
The Fire and Water Committee reported Ordinance
Water Ord- No_ fixing Water rates for the ensuing year, It was

fixing rates appearing for the Livermore Water & Power Co made an
argument in favor of fair Water rates, laid over to the
next regular meeting for adoption

Sprinkling it was ordered that the sum of $30. per month is allowed
for street sprinkling during the summer months.
W Warth granted On motion, H Warth was granted a free peddlers license
free license during the pleasure of the Board.
A petition for Cement crossing, corner 1st and L streets
was received from F Grassi and others. It was referred to
the Street-Committee with power to act.
Petition of P The petition of P Power for street-light near Catholic
Power refused Church, was refused.
Application of D H Vagts for renewal of Liquor license
was granted.
$30 for On motion it was ordered that the Town hereby contributes

Celebration the sum of $30- for 4 of July celebration
The Fire and water Committee were ordered to procure Lanterns
for the Fire engine.
The following resolution was read
Resolution to "Whereas the owners of the Electric Light plant formerly
purchase operated in the Town of Livermore by Ph Meyer, have
Electric Light offered to sell the same for the sum of $800-
Plant Now therefore be it resolved, that it is for the best interests
of the Town of Livermore, that said Electric plant- be
purchased for the use of the Town of Livermore and
be operated for the benefit of the Town
And be it further resolved that the Town of Livermore purchase
said light plant consisting of poles, wires, lamps
and all the electrical apperatus connected there with
for the sum of $800- and said sum of $800- be paid
there for on proper conveyances being made to said
Town conveying good and complete title and
possession given of the same".
The Resolution was adopted by the following vote.

Matter of the way that D Lefranz was conducting his saloon
but that they had refused to appear before the Board
to substantiate the charges they had made_ Under
the circumstances he thought the matter should be dropped
The Board concurred but Mr Lefranz was warned
that he must keep an orderly house in the future or
his license would certainly be revoked.
On motion it was ordered that a warrant be
Warrant for drawn in the sum of $800, in favor of E H Webb
Electric Plant for the purchase of Electric Light Plant.
The Fire and Water Committee were order
to remove the newly purchased Electric apperatus
to the Town Hall to be stored until wanted for use

Public Library of the Town, Asking the Trustees establish and maintain a Public
Library and stating that the Livermore Free Library
would donate its buildings books and furniture

The Chairman stated that W M Mendenhall had
commenced suit against the Town of Livermore to
recover the Electric Plant recently purchased and also
for damages, and asked the board to take some action
in the matter.
The following Preamble and Resolution was offered

Resolution " Whereas, W M Mendenhall has commenced suit
to defend suit against the Town of Livermore in the Superior Court
of Alameda Co. Cal, on the 31st day on May 1901 to
recover the possession of the Electric plant and Electric
apparatus described in the complaint filed therein, or the
sum of $2000-, the value thereof in case a delivery can
th
not be had. And there after to wit on the 4 day of June
1901 the Sheriff of this County having taken possession
of said property in said action and served upon the Town
of Livermore, defendant therein, a certain undertaking
given in said action _ The sufficiency of the sureties
in said undertaking, to wit: William H Machennon
and Arthur P Holland being unknown to the defendants
therein _ Now therefore be it resolved that the defendant
in said action to wit, the Town of Livermore, a municipal
corporation, except to the sufficiency of the sureties in such
undertaking, as provided by law, and that the President
of the Board of Trustees of the Town of Livermore in authorized
and empowered to sign, subscribe and verify any and
all papers for and in behalf of said defendant that may
be necessary in the above entitled action, Ant be it
further resolved that Thomas Scott Attorney at Law is
hereby authorized and empowered to do any and all
things necessary in said action as Attorney for defendant
to protect the interests and the property of the Town of
Livermore in said action and to appear for and represent
the defendant as its Attorney at Law

having received the necessary papers from Messrs Webb
and Espey, and W J Eardly, Trustee in Bankruptcy of
Ph Meyer releasing the Town of Livermore from all
claim and damage in reference to said suit and the
property involved therein and to the Warrant for $800_
drawn on payment of said Plant in favor of E H Webb

Plans and specifications for lighting the streets of the
Town of Livermore were read and adopted and
ordered filed in the office of the Town Clerk
The following resolution was introduced by Trustee
Knox.
Resolution " Resolution requiring notice to be given for proposals
for lighting for the lighting of the streets of the Town of Livermore.
Streets The Board of Trustees of the Town of Livermore,
deeming it expedient to light the streets of said Town
do therefore advertise for bids for the lighting of its
streets in accordance with certain specification on
file with the Clerk of said Town
Therefore be it resolved by the Board of Trustees
of the Town of Livermore, that it advertise for bids
for lighting the streets of said Town, and write
sealed proposals for such lighting, in the manner
and for the length of time hereinafter mentioned,
and as is more specifically set forth in certain specif-
-ications for the lighting of the Town of Livermore
now on file with the Clerk of said Town, to which
bidders are hereby referred for further particulars
for lighting the streets of the Town of Livermore with
20 or more lights of at least 2000 candle power
each; Said lights on First Street to be hung from
35 to 40 feet high, and on outside street from
45 to 50 feet high, and in such place or places as
may be designated by the Board of Trustees of Said
Town.
Said lights to be lighted and extinguished according
to the established moonlight schedule for this latitude,
between the hours of dusk and midnight, and during
the busy hours of dark evenings while the moon is obscured
by clouds from dusk until 10 P. M. _ Provided that
during the month of October, November, December,
January, February and March of each year, said lights
shall remain lighted from dusk until 1 a m of the following
morning - Bids must also be made for furnishing
lights as aforesaid for the 6 months last mentioned in
each year
The aforesaid bids must be for each light per month
during the period for which the bid is made.
Each bid shall be accompanied by a check for

the sum of $100. payable to the order of the President
of the Board of Trustees of the Town of Livermore, certified
by a responsible bank or by a bond for said amount
signed by the bidder and two sureties who shall
qualify under oath in double of said amount over
and above all statutory exemptions _ Each bid shall
designate the character of light intended to be furnished
Said bids will be received on or before the hour
th
of 8 oclock P M of the 25 day of Sept A D 1901 and
must b delivered to the Clerk of the Town of Livermore
in a sealed envelope
Bids for the lighting of said Town as aforesaid
for the periods of one, two and three years, will
be received_ The Board of Trustees reserve the right
to reject any and all bids and let the contract to
any one.
Be it further resolved that a notice be published
in compliance with the aforesaid resolution asking
for bids for such lighting, in the Livermore Herald
and Livermore Echo, newspapers of general
circulation, printed and published in the Town of
Livermore, and by notice posted in three public places

at least 10 days before the 25 day of Sept 1901

Ordinance Establishing a Public Library in and for the Town

N 42. Free of Livermore, a Municipal Corporation, Alameda
Library Co California.
The Board of Trustees of the Town of Livermore
do ordain as follows:
Section 1. The Board of Trustees of the Town of Livermore
having been duly requested by petition to establish
in and for the Town of Livermore, a Public Library
in accordance with the provisions of a certain Act
of the Legislature of the Stat of California, Entitled
" An Act to Provide for the Establishment and Maintenance of Public
Libraries within Municipalities", Approved March
23, 1901
Section 2. The request to establish said Public Library
was made by petitions in due and legal form as required
by Section 2. of the Act aforesaid containing the signatures
of one fourth of the electors of the Town of Livermore.
Section 3. That a Public Library is hereby established
in and for the Town of Livermore, a municipal
corporation, in accordance with, and to the full extent
and meaning of an Act of the Legislature of the Sate
of California, Entitled "An Act to provide for the
Establishment and Maintenance of Public Libraries
with Municipalities", Approved, March 23, 1901.
Section 4. This Ordinance shall take effect and
be in full force from and after the date of its passage
and one publication in the "Livermore Echo" and
"Livermore Herald", newspapers printed and published
in the Town of Livermore, California.

Chairman Meyers stated that the Board as a committee
of the whole had visited the Town of San Leandro for
the purpose of investigating their system of street lighting
It was moved by Trustee Kennedy, seconded by Trustee
Knox that the rate of per cent of taxes to be levied and
Fixing tax collected in the Town of Livermore, for the current year
Rate of 1901 and 1902
General Fund upon and against the persons and
50 cts property described in the last assessment roll of said
Library fund town, is hereby fixed at $.50 cts on each $100 of the
10 cts assessed valuation of the property of said Town, for general
purposes. An additional tax of $.10 cats is hereby fixed
and levied upon each $100 of assessed valuation of
property in the town of Livermore for the current year
of 1901 and 1902 for Public Library purposes. And that
the tax levied and collected for general purposes be
Known as the "General Fund" and tax levied and
collected for library purposes, be Known as the "Public
Library Fund.

A communication from a committee of the Board of Supervisors
of the City and County of San Francisco was read, asking this
Board to send delegates to a State Convention for the purpose
of memorializing the President and Congress to reenact
the Chinese Exclusion Act.
On motion the chairman was instructed to appoint 5
Chinese Citizens of the Town to act in conjunction with the Board
Exclusion of Trustees as delegates to said Convention with the
Convention understanding that the Municipality defray the actual
expenses incurred by the delegates during their attendance
Bids for printing and publishing in accordance with
the call for the same were then opened and read
Bid of A L Henry was 75 cents per square for first
Bids for printing insertion and 50 cents per square for each subsequent
insertion
Bid of W E Still, was $1.00 per square for first insertion
and 50 cents per square for each subsequent insertion
Rejected On motion the bids were rejected
The contract of the Livermore Water and Power Co for
Contract lighting the streets of the Town of Livermore was read
for lighting and on motion the following resolution was unanimously

Whereas, The Livermore Water and Power Co, a corporation
having signed and executed a contract for lighting the Town
Resolution of Livermore with 60 or more incandescant lights
to confirm of 32 candle power each in accordance with a contract

said Town, and having also presented a good and sufficent
bond payable to the Town of Livermore in the sum of
$500_ for the faithful performance of said contract,
Therefore be it Resolved that the President pro tem
of the Board of Trustees of the Town of Livermore is
hereby authorized and empowered to sign said
lighting contract aforesaid, for the Town of Livermore

Minutes The minutes of the last regular and succeeding
meetings were read and approved as read
Mthly Reports The regular monthly reports of Clerk, Marshal
and Treasurer were read and ordered filed
The Chairman of the Street Committee reported that
he had interviewed the owners of the property on the S. E.
Sidewalk corner of 1st and J streets in regard to replacing the
1st & J sts dilapidated wooden side walk with cement, but
without effect. The Clerk was instructed to notify
the said owners in writing to have the work done
A Bill of Sale was received from the Livermore
Bill of Sale Free Library, a corporation, to the Town of Livermore
Free Library of all books, buildings, furniture and fixtures, belonging
to said corporation. The matter and document-
was referred to the Town Attorney.
The Livermore Water and Power Co. asked for
and was granted one weeks extension of time
to fulfil contract for lighting the streets of the Town
The Chief Engineer reported that he had purchased
four chemical Fire Extinguishers for use on the
Fire apparatus of the Town

Resolution
" Whereas it is by law made the duty of the
Board of Trustees of the Town of Livermore, at

Resolution least thirty days prior to the 15 day of January
demanding of each year to require by ordinance of other wise
Statement any corporation, company or persons, supplying
from Water water to the town of the inhabitants thereof, to
Companies furnish to the Board of Trustees thereof, in the
month of January of each year, a detailed
statement, Therefore
Be it Resolved, that the Board of Trustees of the
Town of Livermore, a municipal corporation, of
Alameda Co. State of California, do hereby require each
person, company or corporation supplying water to the
said Town of Livermore, or the inhabitants thereof, to
furnish to the Board of Trustees of the Town of Livermore
in the month of January 1902. a detailed statement
verified by the oath of the president and secretary of
such corporation, company or person as the case
may be, showing the name of each water rate payer,
his of her place of residence, and the amount paid
for water by each of such water rate payers, during
the year preceding the month of January 1902 and
also showing all revenue derived from all sources
and an itemized statement, showing all expenditures
made for supplying water during that time.
The Clerk of the Town of Livermore is hereby
directed to forthwith serve a copy of the above resolution
upon each person, company or corporation, furnishing
Water to said town or to the inhabitants thereof."
The Town Attorney presented a written opinion
as to the liability of the Town of officers of the Town
for damages arising in case of accidents from
defective sidewalks. It was ordered filed

The Board of Trustees of the Town of Livermore met
pursuant to adjournment at 7.30 P. M.

E Horton Superintendent of the Livermore Water
and Power Co, stated that the plant for lighting
the streets of the Town was completed and ready
to commence the fulfillment of contract
Commencement The statement was accepted and on motion
of lighting it was ordered that payment commence form
Contract this date.
On motion it was ordered that the Livermore
Water & Power Co. place another light of First
Street between the Catholic Church and Junction
Avenue, and were also instructed to paint the
light poles, gray at the base and white above
as soon as practable.
Thanks to On motion the Clerk was instructed to tender
A B Stevens to Mr A B Stevens the thanks of this Board for
his kind letter to Mr Geo Beck in regard to the
free use of the land occupied by the Public Library
the Town Attorney reported that he had examined
the Bill of Sale fro the Livermore Free Library
and found it correct, reading as follows:
The Livermore Free Library, a corporation,
Bill of Sale having its principal place of business at the
of Library Town of Livermore, Alameda County, State of
California, for and in consideration of the sum
of $1 to it in hand paid by the Town of Livermore
a municipal corporation, does hereby grant, bargain
and sell convey and confirm unto the said Town
of Livermore all of the books, library building and
the building adjacent thereto heretofore used as a
tailoring shop, all the shelving, fixtures and furniture
of every kind and nature used in said library building
or said tailoring shop and all other personal property
used in connection with the said library and building
belonging to said Livermore Free Library.
In witness where of the said Livermore Free
Library has caused to name and the name of its
President and Secretary to be hereto subscribed the
21st day of November 1901

building adjacent thereto used as a tailoring shop
with all its shelving, fixtures and furniture of every
Kind and nature used in said library building
or said Tailoring shop, and all other personal property
used in connection with the said library, and buildings
belonging to the said Livermore Free Library, for the
sum of one dollar, and
Said Livermore Free Library, a corporation,

having on the 2 day of Dec 1901 delivered to the
Board of Trustees of the Town of Livermore, a Bill
of Sale, in writing, of date Nov 21st 1901, duly
signed and executed by the Livermore Free Library
a corporation, by the terms of which, said Livermore
Free Library for and in consideration of the sum
of $1.00 in hand paid, by the Town of Livermore
a municipal corporation, does grant, bargain and
Sell, convey and confirm unto the said Town of
Livermore, all the property hereinbefore described
and mentioned.
therefore be it resolved that the Town of Livermore
a Municipal Corporation, purchase from the
Livermore Free Library, a corporation, all the
property described in said Bill of Sale and that
Said Bill of Sale be received and accepted by the
Said Town, and filed with the Clerk,. and that
a copy of said Bill of Sale be spread upon the
minutes and record of the Board of Trustee.
On motion the Clerk was instructed to draw
a warrant i favor of the Livermore Free Library
