A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
TEMPLE CITY ORDERING THE LEVY AND COLLECTION OF
ASSESSMENT FOR FISCAL YEAR 1985 -86 WITHIN THE
CITY -WIDE LIGHTING MAINTENANCE DISTRICT PURSUANT
TO THE LANDSCAPING AND LIGHTING ACT OF 1972.
IIIWHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Temple City did on the 21st day of May,
1985, adopt its Resolution of Intention No. 85 -2358 . to levy and collect assessment
for fiscal year 1985 -86 within the City -Wide Lighting Maintenance District, which
Resolution No. 85 -2358 was duly and legally published in the time, form and manner as
required by law, shown by the Proof of Publication of said Resolution of Intention on
file in the Office of the City Clerk; and
WHEREAS, said City Council having duly received considered evidence, oral and
documentary, concerning the jurisdiction facts in this proceeding and concerning the
necessity for the contemplated work and the benefits to be derived therefrom, and
said City Council having now acquired jurisdiction to order the proposed assessment:
SECTION 1. It is hereby resolved by the City Council of the City of Temple
City that the report filed by the Engineer is hereby approved; and
SECTION 2. Be it further resolved that the public interest and convenience
requires the ordering of the levy and collection of assessments for fiscal year 1985-
86, and said City Council hereby orders levy and collection of assessments within the
City -Wide Lighting Maintenance District, as set forth and described in said Resolution
No. 85 -2358 be done and made; and
SECTION 3. Be it further resolved that the adoption of this Resolution con-
stitutes the levy of the assessments as set forth in the Engineer's Report for the
fiscal year 1985 -86; and
III SECTION 4. The City Clerk is hereby authorized and directed to file a certi-
fied copy of the diagram and assessment with the County Auditor of the County of
Los Angeles not later than the third Monday in August.
