SUBJECT: FY 02 5010-1 Airport Inspection conducted August 7, 2002.

Dear Mike,
The 5010-1 Airport Inspection I conducted of the McCall Airport on August 7, 2002, showed the
airport to be in good condition overall. The findings of the inspection are outlined as follows:
At the time of the inspection, the condition of the runway, taxiway and ramp surfaces was fair
with some minor cracking visible. The runway markings were very faded and in need of a fresh
coat of paint. The windsock was also extremely faded and in need of replacement. In addition,
the segmented circle is in fair condition. It is recommended that it also receive either a new coat
of paint or an overall remodel.
Since the time of the inspection, I have seen the results of the major airport improvement project
which have eliminated the issues listed above. The runway, taxiways and ramp areas have all
received a sealcoat application. This has upgraded the condition of these surfaces to a "Good"
classification. Also, the runway markings have been repainted, and a new runway lighting system
has been installed. There is also a new windsock in place. The airport is in "Good" condition
after the improvement project. I have noted that the McCall Airport has added Jet A fuel to its
services.
