CITY COUNCIL “PRE-MEETING” WORK SESSION, APRIL 6, 2020
CALL TO ORDER
Mayor Carrie Tergin called the April 6, 2020 City Council “Pre-Meeting” to order at 5:45
P.M. to review the agenda.
ATTENDANCE
The following Council Members were present via WebEx when the meeting convened:
Present: Fitzwater, Graham, Hensley, Hussey, Kemna, Mihalevich, Prather,
Schreiber, Ward, and Wiseman
Absent: None
A quorum was present.
DISCUSSION OF AGENDA ITEMS
Councilman Fitzwater will lead the prayer.
Adoption of Agenda
- Councilman Fitzwater said he would like to amend the agenda , adding an
item under “New Business” to discuss an EDA grant application. Mayor
Tergin will entertain a motion to amend the agenda.
Announcements
- Sonny Sanders, Director of Planning and Protective Services, and Matt
Morasch, Director of Public Works will make announcements related to City
operations effected by COVID-19, including trash services, transit, and
parking enforcement.
Consent Agenda
- Councilman Graham requested item c, related to electric maintenance
services for all City departments, be discussed and voted on separate from
the remaining items on the consent agenda.
Bills Introduced
- City Staff provided a summary of their respective bills introduced.
- Mayor Tergin and Staff recommended suspending the rules for selected
introduced bills in case future City Council meetings are postponed or
cancelled due to COVID-19.
