Special meeting.
A special meeting was held for the purpose of considering
Oiling Streets the coming season.
Mayor graham presiding and councilmen IT P Kruse-
H L Lune and Neil Okones present.
It- �,,Tas moved. by Kruse second by Lurie that the To:in Oil their
Streets this coming season, providing we can get the Oil.
-It was moved by Okones that the Clerk make application
for preference rating Forin B-1 for the purchase of 10, 0 `0
gallons of RoaC Oil- sedon d by Kruse- ?Motion Carried.
It was moved by Kruse second by Lurie that the flIayor and
Clerk sign a contract -for the purchase of .10,000 gall(,ns
of Road- Oil with the Iowa Road Building Co, Des Moines
at a price of .0314 per gallon, and .02 per gallon for
apnlying on streets, also .60 per ton for spreading sand,
all subject to approval if P .i *A. ,for which application having
been ma.de,is approved.
There being no further business council adjourned.

Mitmtus of Jan 4th and Jan 29th were read and on :notion by
Okon�,-s -second by Lindaman, approved as read .
All reports from committees were heard and approved.
It was moved by Luwe second by Kruse, that%rthe Street & aAlley

icy atreats . ,.otion carried.
Treasurers retort was received, read and placed on file.
The following bills were presented, read, and on motion by
Okonas second by Kruse allowed as read. motion carried.
