A SPECIAL ORDINANCE AMENDING THE ZONING MAP AT 3601 EAST MAIN RICHMOND, INDIANA
WHEREAS, the Zoning Map designates and describes the property at 3601 East Main Street, directly in front of the Wal-Mart building, as C-2 Commercial District; and
WHEREAS, it is desirable to change the zoning designation to a Special Use District to allow the use of the property for a motor vehicle service station,
NOW, THEREFORE, be it ordained by the Common Council of the City of Richmond, Indiana, that the zoning designation of the property described below is hereby changed to a SU Special Use
District within the C-2 Commercial District to allow the use of the property for a motor vehicle service station:
Being a part of Northwest Quarter of Section 2, Township 12 North, Range 1 West in Wayne Township, Wayne County, Indiana, part of the Northeast Quarter of Section 3, Township 13 North,
Range 1 West in the City of Richmond, Wayne County, Indiana and a part of the Southeast Quarter of Section 34, Township 14 North, Range 1 West in the City of Richmond, Wayne County,
Indiana and being more particularly described as follows:
Beginning at an iron pipe found at the southeast corner of the Southeast Quarter of said Section 34 and running thence south on the extension of the east line of the southeast Quarter
of said Section 34 (assuming that said east line runs north and south) 533.00 feet; thence South 89 degrees, 51 minutes, and 00 seconds West, parallel to the south line of the Southeast
Quarter of said Section 34, 675.00 feet; thence North 533.00 feet to a point in the south line of the Southeast Quarter of said Section 34; thence North 89 degrees, 51 minutes and 00
