BEACH ASSOCIATES FOR THE DEVELOPME."~`I' OF REAL
PROPERTY LOCATED AT 11122 AND 11136 LONG BEACH

WHEREAS, section 33433 of the Health and Safety Code requires
the City Council after public hearing to approve the sale of land acquired
with tax increment money; and
WHEREAS, subject to the approval of the Lynwood City Council
the Lynwood Redevelopment Agency, by Resolution Pdo. LRA 85- dated
Play 7, 1985, has approved the sale of approximately 22,203 square feet of real
property located on the Northeast corner of Imperial Highway and Long Beach
Boulevard, to It~erial Highway & Long Beach Associates, for the sun_of $232,132
and has authorized the execution of the Disposition and Development Agreement
for said sale; and
V7HERFA.S, the City Council held a public hearing on the proposed
sale pursuant to publication of notice as required by State Law; and
b9HERFAS, the Lynwood City Council has received and considered
the report of said Agency on the proposed development to be carried out pursuant
to said Disposition and DeveloFnnent Agreement and the Negative Declaration on
such proposed development; and as result of its said consideration and evidence
p~ presented at the hearing on the same matter, this Council has determined that the
proposed development will not have any significant effect on the environment other
than as identified in the Environmental Assessment (Initial Study) prepared for
subject project.
NOW, THEREFORE, the City Council of the City of Lynwood does
hereby find, determine, order and resolve as follows:
Section 1. This 'Council hereby concurs wish those firidirigs
made by the Lynwood Redevelopment Agency by its Resolution LRA No. 85- ,
dated June 4, 1985, and its action approving a Negative Declaration with respect
to the proposed development.
Section 2. The acquisition and combination of parcels as provided
in the Agreement is necessary and appropriate to create an econanically viable
develo~nt unit.
Section 3. This Council hereby approves the sale by the
Lynwood Redevelopment Agency to Imperial Highway & Long Beach Associates for
the sum of $232,132, of that certain real property located at the Northeast corner
of Imperial Highway and Long Beach Boulevard, in the City of Lynwood, County of
Los Angeles, State of California, and more particularly descric~ed as follows:
Street Address: 11122 & 11136 Long Beach Boulevard and 3301
Imperial Highway.
Legal Description: Lots 84, 87, 88 and 89 of Tract No. 2551,
in the City of Lynwood, as per map recorded
in Book 24 Pages 78-80 inclusive of maps, in
the office of the Los Angeles County Recorder.
which real property is within the Lynwood Redevelopment Project Area "A".
Section 4. The aforesaid Disposition and Development Agreement
between the Lynwood Redevelopment Agency and Imperial Highway & Long Beach
Associates is hereby approved. No further approval by the Lynwood City Council
shall be required for said Agency to enter into such Agreement or convey said
land pursuant thereto.
