A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
LYNWOOD AUTHORIZING AN APPROPRIATION OF FUNDS
FROM PROPOSITION 'A' TO COVER THE COST OF THE
PURCHASE OF FIFTY CONCRETE TRASH RECEPTACLES
WHEREAS, the City Council in June, 1984, adopted the budget for
Fiscal Year 1984-85, which included the proposed purchase of trash receptacles,
and
WHEREAS, on April 2, 1985, the City Council authorized staff to
advertise for bids for the proposed purchase, and
WHEREAS, a bid opening was held on May 15, 1985, for the proposed
purchase, and
WHEREAS, the award of the proposed purchase will be carried over
to FY 1985-86, and
and
WHEREAS, the engineer's estimate for the purchase is $18,000, and
WHEREAS, Proposition 'A' funds are required to cover this purchase,
WHEREAS, the City Council has studied this appropriation and its
budget implications:
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the
City of Lynwood that:
Section 1. The City Manager be authorized to make the following
appropriation:

CIP FUND
Unappropriated Fund Balance $18,000
transfer:
5-5048 Bus Stop Improvements $18,000
Section 2. The City Manager be authorized to make the following
FROM
- $18,000
TO
05-3932 $18,000
Section 3. This resolution shall become effective immediately upon
its adoption.
