A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF LYNWOOD AMENDING RESOLUTION NO.
81-164 MODIFYING FEES FOR RETURNED CHECKS.

WHEREAS, the City processes numerous re-
turned checks during the course of a year; and
WHEREAS, the processing of these returned
checks results in a burden and expense to the City;
and
WHEREAS, the City Council recognizes that
the cost of this processing should reasonably be borne
by the customers and service users who pass the checks;
NOW, THEREFORE, the City Council of the City
of Lynwood does hereby find, determine, order and
resolve as follows:
Section 1. The fees for processing each
check returned from the bank for any reason shall
be $12.00.
Section 2. This resolution whall take
effect.immediately upon adoption..
PASSED, APPROVED AND ADOPTED THIS 6th
day of August 1985.
