Meeting Called to order at 6:03 PM.
Present: Eric Schnedler, Mike Ryan, Al Havens, Jim Bartels, Peggy Upton (Arrived at 6:31 PM). Others
present City Administrator Doug Boldt and City Clerk Ashley Platz.
C. Agenda Additions/Agenda Approval
Motion to approve the agenda by Bartels.
Second by Schnedler.
All ayes, motion carried.
M. Reports from City Personnel
Mayor’s Report – Nothing to Report.
City Council Reports – Nothing to report.
City Administrator’s Report – Discussion of FY 2019-2020 Budget –
Johnson County – Deputy Brad Kunkel & Matt Miller – Johnson County Access Center Update – Matt Miller
provided Council with a background of the Access Center and the services provided which include Crisis
Observation, Crisis Stabilization, Detox and Sobering Services. Seeking capital support of $10k for this Center
from local communities. Council has expressed support of the Access Center along with capital support.
Upton arrived at 6:31 pm
Doug Boldt, City Administrator went through the proposed FY 2019-2020 by line item on the expenses and
revenues projected for next year. Mayor Berner had questions regarding projects and funding. Also CIP
discussion on projects which could potentially add a $5.5 million GO Bond issuance.
