A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
LYNWOOD AUTHORIZING AN APPROPRIATION OF FUNDS FROM
PROPOSITION 'A' TO COVER THE COST OF B?1S SHELTER
INSTALLATION, IMPERIAL HIGHWAY
~~ WHEREAS, the City has an ongoing program to use Proposition 'A'
money to improve bus stops through the community, and

WHEREAS, in conjunction with the Improvement of Imperial Highway,
staff proposed to install twelve bus shelters at the most heavily used bus stops;
and
WHEREAS, the engineers estimate is $150,000 for this proposed
project, and
WHEREAS, no appropriation was made in the FY 1985-86 Budget until
the project is ready, and
WHEREAS, Proposition A funds are required to cover this project, and
WHEREAS, staff is ready to implement this project, and
WHEREAS, the City Council has studied this appropriation and its
budget implications:
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of
Lynwood that:
Section 1. The City Manager be authorized to make the following

Section 2. The City Manager be authorized to make the following
transfer:

Section 3. This resolution shall become effective immediately upon
its adoption.
