B. Roll Call
The City of Tiffin City Council held a special session Tuesday, May 28, 2019 at the City Hall Council
Chambers. Mayor Pro Tem Mike Ryan called the meeting to order at 12:00 PM. Upon roll being called
the following members were present: Mike Ryan, Al Havens, Jim Bartels, Eric Schnedler (via Phone)
and Peggy Upton (via Phone). Absent: Mayor Steve Bener. Other present: City Administrator Doug
Boldt, City Clerk Ashley Platz, Building Official Brian Shay and others.
C. Agenda Additions/Agenda Approval
Motion to approve the agenda by Bartels/
Second by Havens.
All ayes, motion carried.
D. Communications and Reports

Motion to open the Public Hearing on FY 2018-2019 Budget Amendment by Upton.
Second by Havens.
Roll Call: Upton, Havens, Ryan, Schnedler, Bartels. All ayes, Public Hearing opened at
12:01pm.
Discussion: Nothing received at City Hall and no public present.
Motion to close the Public Hearing on FY 2018-2019 Budget Amendment by Havens.
Second by Upton.
Roll Call: Upton, Havens, Ryan, Schnedler, Bartels. All ayes, Public Hearing closed at
12:02pm.

1. Resolution 2019-068 – A Resolution Approving the City of Tiffin Budget Amendment for Fiscal
Year 2018-2019
Motion to approve Resolution 2019-068 – A Resolution Approving the City of Tiffin Budget
Amendment for Fiscal Year 2018-2019 by Havens.
Second by Bartels.
Roll Call: Havens, Ryan, Bartels, Schnedler, Upton. All ayes, motion carried.
2. Resolution 2019-069 – A Resolution Setting the Date of the Sale and Conveyance of an
Easement from the City of Tiffin to Central Iowa Power Cooperative (CIPCO) for Linn County
Loop Project
Motion to approve Resolution 2019-069 - A Resolution Setting the Date of the Sale and
Conveyance of an Easement from the City of Tiffin to Central Iowa Power Cooperative (CIPCO)
for Linn County Loop Project by Bartels.
Second by Havens.
Roll Call: Upton, Bartels, Havens, Schnedler, Ryan. All ayes, motion carried.
