A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
LYNWOOD TO APPROVE A THREE YEAR HAP FOR FISCAL
f ~ YEARS 1985-88, COVERING OCTOBER 1, 1985 THROUGH
SEPTEMBER 30, 1988, WITH ITS ANNUAL GOAL, AS
it PART OF THE COMMUNITY DEVELOPMENT BLOCK GRANT
~ (CDBG) REQUIREMENT AND IN COMPLIANCE WITH THE
UNITED STATES DEPARTMENT OF HOUSING AND URBAN
DEVELOPMENT (HUD)

WHEREAS, under the United States Housing and Community
Development Act of 1974 as amended, the City is pursuing "the
Development of viable Urban Communities" by providing decent
housing and suitable living environment and expanding economic
opportunities, principally for persons of low and moderate in-
comes; and
WHEREAS, HUD regulations require submission of a three
year Housing Assistance Plan with annual goals to assess and
monitor the City's assisted housing needs; and
WHEREAS, the City Council has conducted the required
public hearing, to obtain citizen input on the three year HAP
and has taken into consideration their comments.
NOW, THEREFORE, the City Council of the City of Lynwood
does hereby find, determine, order and resolve as follows:
_SECTION 1. Approve and adopt the three year Housing
Assistance Plan for fiscal years 1985-88 as per HU,-~ requirements.
SECTION 2. This resolution shall become effective
immediately upon its adoption.

1985.
