RESOLUTION NO. 85-143
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF LYNWOOD AUTHORIZING THE APPROPRIATION OF
SEVEN THOUSAND SIX HUNDRED EIGHTY DOLLARS
($7,680) FROM THE FUNDS LISTED BELOW FOR THE
PURPOSE OF FUNDING UNEMPLOYMENT INSURANCE
WHEREAS, the Supreme Court has declared unemployment
insurance as a State - mandated cost with fiscal r esponsibility
resting on the State; and
~ WHEREAS, the City o f Lynwood according to the Supreme
Court decision did not budget for unemployment insu rance in the
1985/86 budget, and
WHEREAS, the State has set up a program where cities
will be reimbursed after ma king payments to the unemployment
insurance fund,
NOW, THEREFORE, be it resolved by the Ci ty Council of
the City of Lynwood that the City Council hereby au thorizes the
City Manager to make the following appropriations:
