A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THF. CITY OF I,YNWOOD
ORDERING THE VACATION AND ABANDONMENT FOR PUBLIC
PURPOSES OF THOSE PORTIONS OF THE 10 FOOT WALKWAY BETWEEN
ATLANTIC AVENUE AND THE FIRST ALLEY EAST OF POPE AVENUE
CITY OF I,YNWOOD AS SHOWN ON TRACT MAP NO. 5818, MAP
BOOK 140, FAGS 43 OF MAPS, IN THE OFFICE OF THE LOS
ANGELES COUNTY RECORDER.
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Lynwood dial,
on the 17th day of December, 1985, adopt a Resolution No. 85-155,
declaring its intention to vacate that portion of the 10 foot
walkway between Atlantic Ave. and the first alley East of Pope
Ave.
WHEREAS, notices of said vacation were published and
- posted in the time, form and manner required by law, and
WHEREAS, a Public hearing on the matter was held on the
21st day of January, 1986 as prescribed by law,
NOW, THEREFOR F„ BE IT RESOLVED by the City L"ouncil of
the City of Lynwood. as follows:
Section 1_ That the following described walkway
easement is unnecessary for present or prospective public use, and
that the public interest, necessity, and convenience require, and
:..the, City Council of said City hereby declares its order to vacate
"and `abandon said walkway easement;

Los Angeles, State of California, as per Map Recorded in Book

Said County, lying between the southwesterly prolongation of the
northwesterly and southeasterly lines of Lot 8 of said Tract No.
5818.
PARCEL 2:

northwesterly and southeasterly lines of Lot 22 of said Tract
I No. 5818.
PARCEL 3:
That portion of "Walk", 10 feet wide, as shown and dedicated on
Map of Tract No. 5818, in the City of Lynwood, in the County of
Los Angeles, State of California, as per Map recorded in Book
140 Page 43 of Maps, in the Office of the County Recorder of
said County, lying between the southwesterly prolongation of the
northwesterly and southeasterly lines of Lot 36 of said Tract No.
5818.
PARCEL 4:
That portion of "Walk", 10 feet wide, as shown and dedicated on
Map of Tract No. 5818, in the City of Lynwood, in the County of
Los Angeles, State of California, as per Map recorded in Book
140 Page 43 of Maps, in the Office of the County Recorder of
said County, lying between the southwesterly prolongation of the
northwesterly and southeasterly lines of Lot 50 of said Tract No.
5818.
PARCEL 5:
That portion of "Walk", 10 feet wide, as shown and dedicated on
Map of Tract No. 5818, in the City of Lynwood, in the county of
Los Angeles, State of California, as per Map recorded in Book
140 Page 43 of Maps, in the Office of the County Recorder of
said County, lying between the southwesterly prolongation of the
northwesterly and southeasterly lines of Lot 64 of said Tract No.
5818.
Section 2_ That the City of Lynwood reserves an
easement in, over, or upon said above described property for the
construction, erection, and/or maintenance therein of public
utilities.
Section 3_ That the City Clerk of the City of Lynwood
shall cause a certified copy of said order to be recorded in the
office of the Recorder of Los Angeles County.
Section 4_ This resolution shall take effect
immediately upon its adoption.
FASSED, APPROVED and ADOPTED this 21st day of January, 1986.
