RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF LYNWOOD APPROVING THE SALE OF
CERTAIN REAL PROPERTY TO THE LYNWOOD
DEVELOPMENT AGENCY AND AUTHORIZING
EXECUTION OF AN AGREEMENT
WHEREAS, the City of Lynwood is acquiring certain property
presently owned by the Department of Transportation of the State
of California ("the Caltrans Property") pursuant to an agreement
in the form submitted herewith (the "Caltrans Agreement"); and
WHEREAS, the City desires to convey the Caltrans Property to
the Lynwood Redevelopment Agency to facilitate the assembly of
developable sites for redevelopment activities;
1. The City Council approves and authorizes the Mayor to
execute the "Agreement for Sale of Property" in the form attached
hereto as Exhibit A. Staff is authorized and directed to take
all appropriate action to effectuate the terms of the foregoing
Agreement.
