A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF LYNWOOD APPROPRIATING FIFTEEN THOUSAND SIX
HUNDRED DOLLARS ($15,600) FROM THE UNAPPROPRIATED
FUND BALANCE OF THE GENERAL FUND, WATER FUND,
TRAFFIC SAFETY FUND, STREET LIGHTING FUND AND
LANDSCAPE MAINTENANCE FUND FOR THE PURPOSE OF
FUNDING A FIXED ASSET INVENTORY STUDY AND DEVEL-
OPMENT OF A COST CONTROL SYSTEM TO BE DONE BY
MUNICIPAL SERVICES INSTITUTE.
WHEREAS, there is a need to inventory all fixed assets in
the City; and
WHEREAS, in the face of service cutbacks in federal funding
the City must find alternative methods of financing; and
WHEREAS, Municipal Services Institute provides both of these
services in one study; and
WHEREAS, all operating funds should share the costs of the
study.
NOW, THEREFORE, the City Council of the City of Lynwood
does hereby find, proclaim and resolve as follows:
Section 1. That the City Manager or his designate may
make the following additional appropriations to the Fiscal Year
1985/86 Budget.

Section 2. This resolution shall become effective immediately
upon adoption.
