RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
LYNWOOD APPROVING THE SALE OF LAND BY THE LYN4JOOD
RIDEVEL(JPMENT AGENCY TO HOPKINS LYNWOOD ASSOCIATES
FOR THE DEVELOPMENT OF REAL PROPERTY LOCATED IN
THE COMMERCIAL CENTER SITE IN THE REDEVELIJPMENT
PRQTECT AREA "A"
47HEREAS, section 33433 of the Health and Safety Code requires the
City Council after public hearing to approve the sale of land acquired with
tax increment money; and
WHEREAS, subject to the approval of the Lynwood City Council the
Lynwood Redevelopment Agency, by Resolution No. LRA dated
1986, has approved the sale of approximately eleven (11) acres of
real property located in an area roughly bounded by Beechwood Avenue on the
North, Long Beach Boulevard on the East, Mulford Avenue on the South and
Peach Street on the West, to Hopkins Lynwood Associates, for the sum of
$1,500,000 and has authorized the execution of the Disposition and Development
Agreement for said sale; and
WI~REAS,. the City Council held a public hearing on the proposed
sale pursuant to publication of notice as required by State Law; and
WHEREAS, the Lynwood City Council has received and considered
the report of said Agency on the proposed development to be carried out
pursuant to said Disposition and Development Agreement and the Negative
Declaration on such proposed development; and as result of its said cronsidera-
tion and evidence presented at the hearing on the same matter, this Council has
determined that the proposed development will not have any significant
effect on the environment other than as identified in the Environmental
Assessment (Initial Study) prepared for subject project.
NOW, THEREFORE, the City Council of the City of Lynwood does
hereby find, determine, order and resolve as follows:
Section 1. This Council hereby concurs with those findings
made by the Lynwood Redevelopment Agency by its Resolution LRA No. 86
dated and its action approving a Negative Declaration with
respect to the proposed development.
Section 2. The acquisition and combination of parcels as provided
in the Agreement is necessary and appropriate to create an economically viable
development unit.
Section 3. This Council hereby approves the sale by the Lynwood
Redevelopment Agency to Hopkins Lynwood Associates for the sum of $1,500,000,
of that certain real property located at the Commercial Center Site, in the
City of Lynwood, County of Los Angeles, State of California, and more particularly
described as follows:
Legal Description:
Lots 121-133, 226-261, 312-337, B, 414-423 and
440-446 of Tract 2551 in the City of Lynwood,
County of Los Angeles, State of California, as
per maps recorded in Book 24, Pages 78-80 of
Maps in the office of the County Recorder of
Los Angeles County.
Which real property is within the Lynwood Redevelopment Project Area "A".

I, the undersigned, City Clerk of the City of Lynwood
do hereby certify that the foregoing resolution was passed
and adopted by the City Council of the City of Lynwood at a
regular meeting held on the 18th day of February 1986.

Section 4. The aforesaid Disposition and Development Agreement
between the Lynwood Redevelopment Agency and Hopkins Lynwood Associates is
hereby approved. No further approval by the Lynwood City Council shall be
required for said Agency to enter into such Agreement or convey said land
pursuant thereto.
